the wasteland that consumes
never ending
it has many names
oblivion,
doom,
and demise,
but is most commonly know as death
oblivion becomes our fear
resulting in trying to save ourselves
the truth is
that doom
became too apparent
in our minds
we lead to our own demise...
what can save humanity
from this haunting end?!
there may be one
lurking in the shadows
expelling all doubts
the light shines
of existence,
spirit,
and being,
it is called Life.
Life waves its mighty sword
sweeping up the ashes
of those before
allowing their existence
to nurture the new
their spirit living on in them...
the new being floods the earth
to start again
leaving behind the fear
of death
for life will always overcome
the dark.
